Ansela / Who it’s for / Aesthetics clinics
For aesthetics clinics
The consultation enquiry came in at nine at night. She books it.
Ansela answers in your clinic’s name, books consultations into her own diary and takes messages. She answers only from your approved information and gives no clinical advice.
£1.99 your first month, including VAT, then from £99 a month + VAT. 60 minutes in month one. No contract.
Set up in about 15 minutes.
Ansela is a Bookeasy.ai product. You sign up at ansela.bookeasy.ai, and you’ll see BOOKEASY.AI on your card statement.
Can an AI receptionist answer for an aesthetics clinic?
Yes. Ansela answers in your clinic’s name, books consultations into her own diary, and takes messages. She answers only from information you’ve approved. She doesn’t name or promote treatments, give clinical advice or say whether anyone is suitable. The clinician does that in the consultation.
01
The enquiry who asked what to have done
This is a made-up call. The caller wants a recommendation and a price. She doesn’t give either, books the consultation, and the clinician covers both in the room.
Example call; Harcourt Skin Clinic and the caller are made up.
This call may be recorded. Thank you for calling Harcourt Skin Clinic. Please hold for a moment while I connect you.Recorded, and played before she picks up.
Harcourt Skin Clinic, Ansela speaking. The clinic has closed for the evening. How can I help?
Oh hi. I saw your page tonight. I was wondering about, you know, getting something done around the eyes. What would you recommend? And how much?
I can’t recommend anything. The clinician does that in a consultation, and that’s where suitability and cost get answered. Would you like me to book one?
Yeah, go on. Do you have anything next week? I work Tuesdays to Thursdays.
We have Friday at 11:00, or the Monday after at 17:30. I don’t have a Tuesday to Thursday slot in the diary at the moment. Would either of those do?
Monday at half five. No wait, I’ve got a thing. Friday at eleven, I can swap that.
Friday at 11:00. Can I take your name and number?
Lauren Whitfield. Oh seven seven double oh, nine hundred, one two eight. No, one eight two.
So that’s 07700 900182. I’ve booked a consultation with the clinician for Friday at 11:00.

What she does for an aesthetics clinic, and what she won’t
She works from the approved information you give her: opening hours, address, how to book, and the consultation details. Nothing she says comes from anywhere else.
- Consultation bookings, into the Ansela diary on the days and times you offer.
- Messages for the clinician, taken with a name and number and passed on.
- Practical questions, hours, address, parking and the consultation fee if you’ve given it, answered in your words.
- Aftercare and complication calls, routed by your own set rule, such as the on-call number you provide.
- Won’t name, describe or promote treatments. And never prescription-only treatments. She says the clinician will talk it through in the consultation.
- Won’t give clinical advice or say whether anyone is suitable. She doesn’t reassure about what is normal after a treatment either.
- Won’t answer from anywhere but your approved information. If something isn’t in it, she takes a message.
03
Why do consultation enquiries go unanswered at a small clinic?
Many enquiries arrive in the evening, often after someone has seen the clinic’s Instagram page. They ring when they’re curious, not when the clinic is open. The clinician is usually mid-appointment during the day and can’t pick up.
A caller who gets no answer rarely waits. They try another clinic, or they don’t ring again. Booking the consultation while they’re still curious is the point of answering at all.
04
What does she do when someone asks about a consultation?
She asks for a name, a number, and which day or time suits, then books a consultation into her Ansela diary on the slots you’ve set. If you want a short reason for the visit, she can take it in the caller’s own words, nothing more.
She can answer opening hours, address, parking and consultation fee, but only if you’ve told her. Anything outside your approved information, she takes as a message. If a caller asks about a specific treatment, she says the clinician will talk through everything in the consultation.
05
Will she describe treatments or say what someone needs?
No. She never names or describes prescription-only treatments, and she doesn’t promote any treatment on a call. She gives no clinical advice and no view on whether something is suitable. Your clinic’s approved information is the only source she uses.
This matters because rules on advertising certain treatments to the public are strict, and a phone line that promotes them could put your clinic at risk. Set her up to book and to take messages, not to sell.
06
What about aftercare and complication calls?
You decide the routing. A person who rings with a problem after a treatment gets the clinic’s own set response: the on-call number you provide, or a message to you straight away. You can add a rule that anyone who mentions difficulty breathing or swallowing is told to ring 999, in your wording.
She doesn’t offer reassurance or advice about what is normal. See also beauty salons and hair salons for neighbouring businesses.
Plans start at £99 a month + VAT: see what each plan includes. Paying a per-call service now? See how Ansela compares.
07
Where the phone usually is when the evening enquiries come in
We built Ansela because we kept ringing tradespeople who couldn’t pick up, and then booking someone else. She isn’t a call centre. She answers in your name, says what you’ve told her to say, and writes down what the caller wanted.
If she gets a call wrong, forward us the recording.

08
How do you set up Ansela?
You choose a plan before your number goes live.
For aesthetics clinics: keep your current number and divert it to Ansela, or take a new UK business number for your website and cards, or use both.
- Give her your approved information. She reads your site and comes back with the hours, address and consultation details she’ll use. You cut anything that names or describes a treatment, and write the aftercare routing.
- Call her yourself. Try a caller who asks for a recommendation, one who asks for a price, and one reporting a problem after a visit. Check each goes the way you meant.
- Divert your mobile. We give you a UK number. One short code diverts your mobile to it when you don’t pick up. Another turns it off.

Questions aesthetics clinics ask
Can she tell a caller which treatment they need?
No. She gives no clinical advice and no view on suitability. She books a consultation, where the clinician talks it through.
Will she name or describe prescription-only treatments?
No, never. She doesn’t name, describe or promote any treatment on a call and answers only from the information you’ve approved.
What if someone rings with a problem after a treatment?
You set the routing: the on-call number you provide, or a message to you straight away. She gives no advice about what is normal.
Can she book consultations from Instagram enquiries?
Yes, when the caller rings. She books into her own diary on the slots you offer. She doesn’t read or reply to Instagram messages.
Can she quote prices?
Only ones you’ve given her, such as the consultation fee. She doesn’t quote treatment prices, since that would mean naming them.
Do I have to change my number?
No. We give you a UK number and you divert your own to it with a short code (codes by network). Turn the divert off whenever you like.
What is a minute, and can she take two calls at once?
A minute is time she spends on the phone with callers. Starter includes 600 a month, extra minutes are 20p each up to a limit you set, and Starter takes 1 call at a time. A caller who rings while she’s busy can leave a voicemail, which doesn’t use your minutes.
Is there a contract, and what happens after the £1.99 month?
No minimum term. After the first month it carries on at your plan price plus VAT unless you cancel, which you can do from your billing page at any time.
When the enquiries come in at night, let her book the consultation.
